FINANCIAL TIMES
The Number One Earl Grey
Rare Earl Grey is the culmination of many years of blending to create the ultimate expression of a British classic. Described by the Financial Times as the "number one Earl Grey" in the world.
Malawi
The Satemwa Estate
Blended from teas lovingly grown and made on a farm called Satemwa on Thyolo Mountain in the Shire Highlands of Malawi. Satemwa is the oldest tea estate in Malawi, still run by the same family - Alex is the 3rd generation Kay to look after the garden.
No artificial flavours
Real Italian Bergamot
Made from a blend of hand-crafted orthodox tea leaves and top quality bergamot (a natural cross between a bitter orange and a lemon), Rare Earl Grey is a traditional loose leaf tea using the natural citrus oil to subtly scent the tea rather than drown it in chemical flavours.
We do not add any blue cornflowers, which might look pretty but do not impart any flavour. We do not add any pieces of citrus skin to bulk up the weight of the tea. This is an Earl Grey tea in its purest form.
