From 'Infused: Adventures in Tea':
"The smoking is done in ancient two-storey wooden houses blackened by age and centuries of smoke. Wrapped around the ground floors are wide, shaded verandas stacked with neat piles of golden-blond wood, the bark removed."
The tea garden is situated deep within the protected forests of the Wuyi Shan UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Only a handful of small family farms are allowed to make tea in this area – where the bushes are left to grown almost wild.
