India
Sikkim
A close neighbour of Darjeeling, Sikkim is nested high in the green slopes of the Himalayas, between Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal and West Bengal.
In 2016 the entire state achieved full conversion to organic agriculture - being the first and only state in India to achieve this distinction. The environmental credentials continue with the banning of plastic water bottles.
