A rich and exceptionally bright herbal infusion with grassy notes of fresh hay and lemon drops.
Quantity
Use 0.1 oz of leaf per 5.5 fl oz of water (2g per 150ml).
Temperature
For the optimum infusion use 212°F (100°C) water.
Time
Infuse for 2 - 3 minutes, tasting regularly.

You can infuse these herbs at least three times. With each careful infusion, different subtleties of flavour are revealed.

A blend of lemongrasses from both the Amba Estate and smallholder gardens across Sri Lanka.
Originally all sourced from the Amba Estate, but demand soon outstripped supply. Due to our practice of direct trade, our direct investments have allowed us to work with other growers from a cooperative of organic small holders across the country, making sure we are always well stocked with this wonderful herb.

Amba is an organic tea garden in the highlands of Sri Lanka, situated in the mountains above the Ravanna Falls. Incorporating a wildlife sanctuary, this small but thriving estate in the Uva hills grows not only teas but also extraordinary lemongrass, which infuses to make an invigorating herbal tea.
