Very Rare Longjing is best brewed hotter and quicker than other green teas. The wonderful thing about loose leaf green tea, as with all our teas, is that you have a great deal of flexibility when it comes to extracting the tea in different ways. You can vary the amount of tea you use for different infusion methods. For really stunning results use 0.11oz of tea in a Gaiwan and enjoy four or five smaller, quicker extractions (approx. 20 - 30 seconds each).
This is simply the premier cru of the farm. It has been carefully selected to be what we, and the family that make it, believe to be one of the finest examples of Longjing.
